I love to collaborate. I’m used to working with directors, producers, and clients. I’ve lead projects through post-production with high-end clients and accelerated timelines. I’m a focused editor and hard-worker. I try to stay humble and always serve.
I’m passionate about social justice and interested in people. I love telling stories.
I work primarily as an editor and colorist. I also direct and produce.
I’ve been working full-time as an editor since 2008. Working primarily with small to medium-sized production companies, I’ve had to wear many hats. This has given me a diverse knowledge of production and post.
I started my career working as an Avid assistant editor creating on-demand local TV content for Comcast.
I began to work on feature-length and short documentaries focused on international social justice issues, including Women in War Zones (Best Documentary, Philadelphia Film Festival and Cinefest).
I continued editing and assistant editing documentaries and web content with a variety of production companies in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. I edited the feature documentaries SEE: An Art Road Trip, which premiered at the Camden International Film Festival and A Polite Bribe which had a nationwide theatrical release.
In 2013, I was offered a partnership and editor position at FreshFly, a documentary and commercial production company in Philadelphia. Two years later, I became the Senior Editor at FreshFly. I oversee FreshFly’s post-production arm; from hiring/managing assistant editors to navigating the ever-changing technologies that help us tell our stories.
In December 2016, I relocated to Los Angeles to open a FreshFly west coast branch and continue work as a freelance editor and colorist.
I do my best to learn whatever technology is needed to best serve the stories I tell and keep the projects I’m working on flowing smoothly.
I learned to edit on Final Cut 7 and Avid.
I’ve become highly skilled in Final Cut Pro X, and have managed and taught FCPX workflows for production companies.
I’ve been working with Davinci Resolve for color correction since 2014.
I have a working knowledge of Premiere, Avid, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
